The 'Real' problem with Expectation!

Considered to be one of the primary reasons for any misery, expectation is actually highly positive in nature.Growth of any kind is only possible when we expect something from ourselves or our lives.
It is not wrong to expect, problem arises when one expects that expectation to be fulfilled. There is a very thin and subtle line separating the two. The first expectation breeds motivation and desire to achieve, grow and prosper. The second usually results in all generally considered negative emotions.
It is natural to expect. But when this expectation is not fulfilled, then the problem arises. Not because we expected something, but because we expected our expectation to be fulfilled.
They are two different things, but it is rarely that we see through the line separating them. Once this bifurcation is made, we are no longer dependent on anything that we can't control. Fulfillment of the expectation is more often than not beyond our control, so there is no point in desiring it.
For better understanding, a favor done by a person for another person raises an expectation of a 'Thank You' . The expectation is fair, but the person should be indifferent if the opposite happens. The state of the mind should be independent of the fulfillment of the expectation.
This applies to the 'physical world', the 'spiritual world' goes deeper!

An Interesting Situation !

If God exists, am sure that he/she(He from now on for simplicity) is having a hell of a time sitting in heaven seeing the chaos and confusion in His creation. This world could be his playtime, and we could be puppets in His hands. But interestingly I feel, he would have to have uncountable hands to puppeteer the world. If He is in control, if He is fate and destiny, then what does that make us? An entertainment factor for His amusement.
Amusement is the only 'emotion' He'd feel by having a look around. If He can feel that is!!! I sometimes wonder what characteristic a supreme being would have? In the language barrier that surrounds me, I would have to say that we haven't thought of His characteristics. Just acceptance of His existence is what we believe. And ironically does He even care about what we believe?
Why does everyone expect Him to be fair? Why should He? And if He has to be what we expect Him to be as, wouldn't the circularity of His puppeteering and our expectations create an interesting situation? Think about it!!!
The way I would look at someone who is all powerful, will be someone who keeps himself at a distance, does not interfere in the going ons of the world. Just watches and has a jolly good time. Why would He want to interfere? Why would he want to care? If He loves us, then it gives him a bigger reason to not care, cause he can't be partial or unfair (supposed characteristic).
Then why do we pray? If we believe God to be fair, then the question of fulfilling any desire based on praying is absurd. Then this constant scenario of praying does seem to be a self created illusion. And the reasons for praying are even more absurd. Prayers for humanity and mankind must definitely make Him feel foolish as to not understand what the homo sapiens best interests are. If we believe Him to be all powerful then how can you not expect him to understand what is the best thing to do? Why is this process of praying involved?
No matter how hard I try, I can't seem to fit the Ultimate Spirit into my scheme of life. His existence is of no primary importance because it won't affect my process of living!

Life : One Moment at A Time!

In the current context of life around, there is no present, only the recent
past and the immediate future.
The mind lives in tomorrows whereas life is possible only in the present.
Lagging behind or rushing ahead is the problem. Live the moment, as it
is and as you are.
We can never have two moments in our hands, only one single moment.
The choice is ours , to live it or think. Subsequently, life reduces
to small moments that 'take our breath away'. The moments are not
special. Its our choice of living those moments that make them
special.
Life is an artistic journey through time. a symphony, a painting, a
poetic treat ... a free flowing dance piece.Every moment is a
different musical note, a different brush stroke, a different verse and
a different step.A miss of any of these creates disturbance in the
respective art. Same is with the journey of life. Each moment is to be
lived to make life a beautiful master piece.
Life is not a 'to-do' list.Its a celebration of existence.This does
not mean stopping and pushing work aside.Work should be a part
of that existence, very much like singing and dancing.Work is not a
burden on our existence.Flowers bloom, birds chirp and rivers flow.
It is not a burden they carry. It is a part of their celebration of
existence.
"Life is a celebration, a festivity. It is really a great feast, a
blissful festivity. It is not a homework, not a task that has to be
performed. Every moment is a celebration!"

The real 'Theory of Relativity'!

Everyone has heard or read about the famous 'Theory of Relativity' by Albert Einstein, one of the greats of the 21st Century. His explanation all point towards relativity in terms of space. One fine night...in one fine state of mind...my thoughts lead me to 'this' particular theory of 'this' particular person. And my interest in the thoughts of the human mind led me to amalgamate the renowned theory with my interest...leading to a brand new realization.
The human mind works quite like everything else...very relative in nature. So many times we find instances where something that is so easy n enjoyable for someone is at the same instant so undoable n laborious for someone else.
Isn't everything around us relative to who we are...what we are...n...how we are!!!

Positive-Negative...Good-Bad...Enjoyable-Painful...Like-Unlike...Easy-Difficult...Love-Hate...Strength-Weakness...Perfection-Imperfection! (etc.etc.)
All of them are so relative to the human mind. They do not contain any Eternal Truth or Fact about them...they are just perceived adjectives...of anything.
I fail to understand how so much emphasis of something being right is directly proportional to the number of people supporting it. There is no hard bound rule defined for any adjective...there can't be...!
Ain't it much easier to just see or believe things to be as they are...without adding any unnecessary added on information to them. Let things just be.
I'm just putting old wine in a new bottle. I don't believe there is nothing new to add...I don't believe there is any knowledge(don't read technological!) not attained by man.
The human 'Theory of Relativity' as I would put it would state:
" Every human understands n perceives things not as they are, but as they want to. Acceptance of everything as it is...is perhaps the ultimate salvation!"
There is such a common phrase 'Beauty Lies in The Eyes of The Beholder'...which when simply put it becomes...one sees what one wants to...one hears what one wants to...! Therefore everything that one sees or hears becomes very relative to the person.
"That's true for you but not for me!"
Our own cognitive bias prevents us from the ultimate realization!
There is no true or false(right or wrong)...All points of view are equally valid and invalid.
All is relative...not in an absolute way...but in a relative way!
Everything is Right...Everything is Wrong! Why not remove all contradictions and and simply state :
'Everything Is!'

'Ideal Life'

Ideally, every person ought to live each passing moment of his life as if the next moment were going to be his last. He ought to be able to live in the constant expectation of immediate death, and to live like this, not morbidly but serenely.... The closer a person can come to attaining this ideal state of mind, the happier he shall be... Ironically I read somewhere..."Everyone believes in the certainty of death...but surprisingly everyone believes that day is not today!"
I believe that once we accept our death...we are free to live...not caring about reputation...about what anyone else has to say...!
Quoting Shakespeare : "All the world's a stage, And all the men and women merely players!" I look around and find one n all acting...and its so 'realistic' n 'believable'...rarely come across someone who is what is...there's a race in being what the world wants the idealist to be...! And one day in this worthless race...we'll wake up and find ourselves 'dead'...!
Live rationally, and part with life cheerfully, as a ripe fruit drops, extolling the season that bore it and the tree that matured it.
We are all wanting to lead a better life, but in the haste forgetting to live.
I may as well act as others...My life may seem fruitless...I don't want to live what others call an ideal or perfect life 'cause that ain't mine! I rejoice in having the knowledge that when I die...any moment that it may be...With my last breath...I won't have any damn reason to want another...I believe that when i draw my last breath I would be satisfied with the knowledge that my experience of life wasn't a hideous sham!
"I believe my life is someone else's dream...my only concern...is it being enjoyed?"

Ain't it True ?

One could have all the theological training of a hedgehog and still get wild applause if one stands up and say 'I'm a Religionist' , but it seems that Atheists are required to demonstrate more intelligence and expertise than all the priests and theologians that have ever lived before they are allowed to publicly express their doubts.
